I'm always going to encourage you to take risks in life, especially when it means becoming wealthy during a recession.
A lot of the times we take advice from friends or family who could never see THEMSELVES doing what it is you're trying to succeed in, and they will turn us against it because of their own fear. NAH. Do what's best for you, take advice from people who have what you want and not from those who are stuck in the same place because they think everything is too “risky”! TAKE THE RISK.
