The SETI Institute is inviting citizen astronomers to participate in its observing program called Cosmic Cataclysms, in partnership with UNISTELLAR, to help monitor T CrB for signs of an eruption. Participants are asked to take regular observations of the star system. If observers use a Unistellar telescope, their data will be processed a few hours after being uploaded on our server and analyzed so that we can trigger a worldwide alert if the nova is detected. This data will be used by astronomers to track the development of the eruption and to learn more about this fascinating phenomenon. Visit our Cosmic Alerts webpage and scroll to the “Highest Priority” section for observing instructions.

One night in August of 1955, a group of 11 people burst into a local police station in rural Kentucky, claiming they had been harassed by strange creatures, impervious to bullets, who had been standing directly outside of their house for hours, looking inside. The investigation that took place in the subsequent days and months revealed this case (which, though the creatures described were silver, gave rise to the term "little green men") to be one of the strangest purported encounters with extraterrestrials ever recorded. In this video, we analyze this incident. This video was originally uploaded to Lucinox in February of 2022. However, I decided in October of 2022 to focus the Campfire series, of which this video is a part, on Fire of Learning exclusively us here too!Patreon: Patreon – Our Science Channel: youtube following music performed by Kevin Macleod Available under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license ad available at incompetech ams Become RealAnxietyApprehension Long Note OneLightless DawnThese songs provided by the YouTube audio libraryMaestro TlakaelelRed Hot SonPicture AttributionsBy Navicore - Own work, CC BY 3.0, wikimedia Famartin - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia Bundesarchiv, Bild 183-S97625 / CC-BY-SA 3.0, CC BY-SA 3.0 de, wikimedia DarylNickerson - Own work, CC BY-SA 3.0, wikimedia Sgerbic - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia timlewisnm - flickr CC BY-SA 2.0, wikimedia Mrmariokartguy - Own work, CC BY 3.0, wikimedia Tim Bertelink - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia Dietmar Rabich, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia Connor Cunningham - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia ForestWander , CC BY-SA 3.0 us, wikimedia Abhranil Kundu - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia ForestWander , CC BY-SA 3.0 us, wikimedia Chinmayee Mishra - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia ForestWander , CC BY-SA 3.0 us, wikimedia ForestWander , CC BY-SA 3.0 us, wikimedia Uroš Novina from Semič, Slovenia - Night sky, CC BY 2.0, wikimedia Dietmar Rabich, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia Derek Harper, CC BY-SA 2.0, wikimedia BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia Dietmar Rabich, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia Agnes Monkelbaan - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia Jacek Halicki - Own work, CC BY-SA 4.0, wikimedia Peter K Burian - Own work, CC BY 4.0, wikimedia Becky Matsubara from El Sobrante, California - Great Horned Owl, CC BY 2.0, wikimedia DickDaniels (http:/theworldbirds.org ) - Own work, CC BY-SA 3.0, wikimedia Paul Hurtado - Great-horned Owl, CC BY-SA 2.0, wikimedia Virginia State Parks staff - WR - Great Horned Owl 4Uploaded by AlbertHerring, CC BY 2.0, wikimedia Andrea Westmoreland from DeLand, United States - Close up of Great Horned Owl, CC BY-SA 2.0, wikimedia Daniel Aufgang - Imported from 500px (archived version) by the Archive Team.
