While a lot of the flood waters in the town of  Harrow  have receded this afternoon, residents along the shoreline east of Wright Road are still dealing with the after effects of the intense rainfall experienced today.

Four cats were lounging together, enjoying a peaceful afternoon. A person approached them with a playful glint in their eye, holding a colorful ball. With a hopeful toss, the ball bounced across the floor, but the cats barely stirred.

One cat lazily stretched out a paw, as if considering the ball before retracting it and rolling onto its back. Another cat followed the ball's path with its eyes but remained rooted to the spot, more interested in a spot of sunlight streaming through the window. The third cat seemed completely indifferent, choosing instead to groom its already pristine fur. The fourth cat, however, displayed the most curious behavior of all— it trotted over to the ball, sniffed it, and then promptly turned its back, staring intently at a seemingly empty corner of the room.

The person sighed, watching their lackluster reactions. Clearly, these cats had their own agenda, one that didn't involve chasing a ball. Smiling, the person sat down among them, content just to be in their quirky company. ...read more
