Not a lot of people seem to be aware of this, but the more you buy of something, meaning larger quantities at once, the lower the price drops. (Often, if not always, referred to as buying in bulk).
Another way to word this, mathematically speaking, is the less you buy, the higher the price climbs.
ie: 1lb of salt might cost $5.
a whole truck of salt might cost a a few grand, but per pound it would workout to $2-3. (I really don't know how many pounds are in a truck, but I hope everybody who needs to hear this gets the point) ...read more
