Sipekne'katik Council in Nova Scotia is calling for legal action after a Mi'kmaw fisherman said that he was forced to barricade himself inside a lobster pound on Tuesday while a mob burned and vandalized vehicles. The story comes amid ongoing unrest in the province after the Sipekne'katik First Nation launched a lobster fishery outside of commercial lobster season, asserting their right to fish for a "moderate livelihood."
